Eugen Peter Steiner, born 1947, 2 daugthers,
living in Vienna (district Döbling).
I started fotographing with a Zorki when I was very youg and I
developed BW in our family’s bathroom over years (which did
not really amuse my mother). As years went by I came step by step
from analog to digital technology.
My favorite theme always has been the nature, especially flowers
and plants of any kind. I don’t like inscenated or arranged
situations or emotions but I really love foreign cities and their
architecture.
Along with my girlfriend Carmen – also fotographer –
I’ve learned to know the Bodensee, where I liked to spent
a lot of time. The island Mainau (in the Bodensee) gives a lot of
famous motivs going with the seasons.
In the moment I’m working with a Canon 20d, Canon 40d, an
analog Minolta Dynax 700 si and with objectives from 8 to 400 mm.
